You'd never guess these photos were taken on the beach

Behold the splendor of Kourtney Kardashian (yes, it’s really her) wearing a stylish beach hat that doesn’t quite live up to its intended look. Unless the extremely wealthy socialite was trying to imitate a bikini-wearing fan of the Coneheads, we can’t help but wonder how she overlooked this little fashion faux pas.

What makes this even more amusing is two things. First, Kourtney clearly thought this photo was good enough to upload directly to her Instagram feed. Second, this picture had the distinction of being the first image in a series of otherwise perfectly acceptable poolside photos. Could it be that the oldest Kardashian sister is actually a big fan of the Coneheads?

Light acts in a strange way in water, and that includes when you’re being photographed in it. While this might explain her distorted appearance, it doesn’t do much to explain the glum expression she has while in the pool. After all, who could stay in a bad mood at a fun pool party?

It’s possible that she looks much taller and happier in regular photos. Unfortunately, poolside pictures often break the rules and usually end up with an unintended and unflattering result. The magic of light refraction strikes again, and it’s a phenomenon that rarely works to anyone’s advantage. Hopefully, she got out of the pool before her fingers and toes got too wrinkled!

These two people look extremely happy to pose with their newly found friend, the stingray! Although stingrays are often regarded as potentially dangerous sea creatures, it seems that even they know how to relax and have some fun every now and then. At least, that’s what we like to think!

It’s really nice to see the improvement in the relationship between humans and stingrays after the Steve Irwin incident. If this trend continues, we might soon be living in a state of complete peace and cooperation with these creatures. As long as the stingrays are happy, it seems we can all enjoy a harmonious experience!

Now we can only guess what kind of beach misdeed the person in question has committed.

It’s very likely that the women in the picture find it much more amusing than the man does. Sometimes, being in the right place at the right time can lead to such interesting situations.
